I miss drupal's feature of being able to embed html in my postings. Would be very handy in the wiki. :)
And, what are flatpages? --- Last Edited by Tim Awa at 2008-10-27 13:53:45 --- |

well.. i figured it would be a bit too risky to allow arbitrary HTML .. but .. i created a simple macro for the wiki to include templates ...
so you could write {includetemplate templateName=mydir/sometemplate.html} and place this template somewhere in your TEMPLATE_DIRS the problem is as soon as you allow anyone to edit a wiki snip .. you probably wouldn't want to allow arbitrary HTML ? so i'm not sure if a global setting to allow it would be sufficient ? (maybe for a intranet-like environment where everyone is trusted.. but i'm not sure how many uses that would have) Hey, we have Signatures !!! Great, isn't it ? ;) |

Hello Tim,
Flatpages are a Django concept. read all about it here http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/flatpages/ Regards, Iain. |
