It looks like python-markdown has been updated recently ( http://www.freewisdom.org/projects/python-markdown/News )
One of the features that they have added support for tables. According them, the API for extensions changed somewhat, so I was wondering how that would effect integration into SCT. From reading the SCT code I couldn't easily figure out wether the macro interface for the wiki was a homemade extension to markdown or something built-in. If its part of markdown, switching to 2.0 should be relatively painless. Let me know and I'll try porting it! -Ed --- Last Edited by Edward Barnard at 2009-04-27 03:19:57 --- |

hi,
the macro extension is home-made .. it is actually discouraged by the python-markdown developer :) (i once explained it's use in their mailing list, earning no real enthusiasm :) ) since i have no idea how to implement such complex logic (like images with thumbnails, including attachments, etc.) with pure human-friendly text markup.. i would have to port it to python-markdown 2.0 i have created a Issue for it: http://code.google.com/p/sct-project/issues/detail?id=154 i hope i have some time to try integrating it (soon) Hey, we have Signatures !!! Great, isn't it ? ;) |
