A business that makes no profit is only existing, it can't expand, it can't hire more employees. It cannot do anything more than what it is currently doing. You use the term common good . That sounds a lot like redistribution of wealth and social justice and FDR and Lyndon Johnson.If you care about the freedoms you have left, you should educate yourself and try to fix what you think is wrong. And that would not be asking questions on Yahoo. You should read some honest history going from Teddy Roosevelt to the mid-70 s. Then you will have a much better understanding of why things are the way they are today. That's assuming you know the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
